If you have braces, you are likely use to the inconveniences that come with it. You can’t eat all the same food that you used to. Your mouth likely aches after getting the braces readjusted. These are just a few of the inconveniences. Thankfully, there are things you can do to make the whole ordeal more manageable.
In this video, you will learn some of these tips.
The first tip is to use an electric toothbrush. Every orthodontist will recommend an electric toothbrush because they do a much better job cleaning your teeth and braces than a normal toothbrush. This is because the bristles on the head of the brush spin. This makes them much more effective at scrubbing away plaque and bacteria that damage your teeth. This will help keep your teeth from turning yellow as is common when people with braces don’t brush their teeth. This is because the uncovered parts of the teeth get weathered and turn yellow while the covered parts remain white. Thankfully, this can be easily avoided with regular brushing. Don’t forget to floss either. You will be thankful that you did in the end.
